No, no tornado warnings, or even watches here.
IIRC, your friend lives in the DFW area…?
We’re about 200 miles south.
Sounds like he and his family are OK though, so that’s good news…!!!
Thanks Minnie, and Happy Easter to you and yours, as well…!!!
Yep, those little cuties are always “stylin’” somethin’…!!!!!!!
I’ll post some pics from Mom and Pop’s today, either later tonight or tomorrow, but we just got back a little while ago and I’m still in a bit of a food coma…!!!!!
Later today my wife and I are hoping to enjoy "The Island in Pigeon Forge"

I feel like someone on here (maybe Jennifer??) has posted about going there?

btw, we are still in our Roanoke VA area hotel. Meeting our daughter for breakfast then it'll be a 4 hour drive to Pigeon Forge TN.

There are all kinds of things to do but I will comment on just the two that I was able or had the desire to be part of. First, If you like Soarin' in my opinion you will love SkyFly. It is the same basic idea as Soarin' but to me it was better and more complete and way better themed. The only other thing I went on was the Smokey Mountain Farris wheel. I love the sights from the top, but if heights are a problem it might not be as much fun as I found it to be.
I went last May. I don't know if or how much they have changed things, but at least at the time, admission was free, but like the original Disney set up, you pay for individual attractions. By the time you are done, depending on the things that interest you folks, it could easily add up to the admission costs of Disney Parks. But, like myself, since there were some attractions that were unwise for me and my ever picky back, the whole park was a fun experience and since I only did two attraction it was far less expensive than just walking through the gate at WDW.
If you haven't already gone to it the following link will be a little more explicit.

We’ve been there many times, including NYE.
We often go just to eat! Paula Deen’s and Mellow Mushroom are fantastic!
The Ferris wheel is fun … haven’t done Sky Fly.
Gatlinburg is quite close - we like to take the gondolas up the mountain multiple times. I’m a huge fan of the glass sectioned bridge … Mike, not so much.

We are at Paula D's for dinner after experiencing SKY FLY. Yes, it was the same idea and the same super fun quality as Soarin'. I only took photos leading up to being seated. Once seated I only enjoyed it with no photography. Sooo much fun! ...the photos are what you see as you are waiting to reach the actual bench seats.
This coming weekend is King's Day, which is a HUGE national holiday here. The Royal family always visits a town on that day and the town hosting that year organizes a bunch of entertainment, etc....this year, the town I live in is hosting, but they don't know what will happen now, because Pope Francis' funeral services will be held the same day, and the King is possibly going to the funeral, which means he can't be here. I'm wondering if he'll just send his daughters here to do the festivities while he goes to the funeral.

I posted the food on @trr1 food forum. The dessert for me was banana cream pudding. Everything my wife and I ate...the main entrees and the desserts...Everything was delicious.
OK, finally some pics from Mom and Pop’s on Easter Sunday…!!!
We celebrated Mom’s 86th birthday together, as we weren’t able to all be together on the 15th for her actual birthday. Unfortunately, our younger sis’ wasn’t able to make it with her family from Louisiana.
Food was great as per usual…smoked brisket, sausage, sides…!!!!!
Emmy and Audrey’s beautiful Easter dresses, Mom’s peace rose, there was wine and beer involved, and the last pic is of myself and my 2 younger bros with Mom.
The bro on the right is the one with the cancer.
They did travel to MD Anderson Cancer Center (one of the best in the world) in Houston last week and got some good hope that they can extend his life for a long while, actually.
He looked good (he’s always been thin, but has lost some weight) and was in high spirits.
We prayed, as we always do before the meal, with plenty of prayers for him.
It was a great time, and he said it really picked him up…!!!!!
