OR it might be because your human friends were able to use the bathroom and that poor animal had a bladder about to burst and was waiting for you to get there to take him outside? But, it's not impossible that they are fakes, just not for that reason.

Did a double-take there . . . I had just seen a photo of (another) critter below . . . although the ferret does look a bit familiar --
We had a big hail storm this morning around 5:50. It woke me up. I heard the vibrations through my pillow. It was golf-ball sized, and even bigger. Many homes were damaged. A lot of shattered/cracked windshields. Insurance places were closed today, but had to open. Luckily I have underground parking at my apartment complex, so I don't have anything to put a claim in for.
