Based on what I heard on the radio (ok, I think it was satellite radio, I'm not a total Luddite), Fall Out Boy singer isn't as good as Billy Joel. I seem to recall that he was married to Jessica Simpson's sister, Ashlee, though.

Dang, I was already in my 20’s. In 89, I bought my first brand new car - a 1989 Nissan Pulsar NX.

Gosh, I looked hot in that car … mainly because it was a gutless 1.6l engine, and I had to shut off the air conditioning to make it up any big hills. Loved that car!

Six or Seven years ago one of my students asked me what my favorite color was. I said "green". A couple of weeks later I received a green bear as a Christmas gift. Tonight I put it thru the wash on the gentle cycle and it looks as good as the day she gave it to me View attachment 829905

I haven’t put Mod through the washing machine (at any cycle!) in decades. He’s 48 years old and has been slept with almost every night since 1976! I toss and turn dozens of times per night, and Mod makes every turn with me. He’s a trooper, but the washer would be the end of him.

I know he’s full of germs and dust mites, and God only knows what else, but I’ve slept with dogs (and Mike) for decades too, so apparently I’m not too bothered.

I'm really surprised at how little bridal fashion changed in two years...I could post a pic from my own wedding in May 1986, and my headpiece and dress, and bouquet are all very similar!

Pretty sure I still have some of these songs on vinyl!! Sophomore and Junior year of college. I was definitely at sorority socials dancing with frat guys to some of these!

My brother was also a redhead who could tan. He also had hazel.eyes where myself and our parents are varying shades of blue.

The only red lipstick I can wear is a bluish red. Not sure what that means, seasonally

As I’ve posted, I have, mostly, brown eyes, although with some green flecks.
Carolyn has blue eyes.
Megan (oldest DD) has blue eyes, like her mother, Matthew (DS) has hazel eyes and Sarah (youngest DD) has brown eyes.
We originally wanted 4 kiddos (we both come from 4 sibling families), but were plenty happy with 3. No clue what eye color the 4th kiddo would have had…

I have never worn lipstick, although I’ve probably been drunk enough too more than a few times…!!!!!

"Sappy Holiday", a Christmas romance movie, is currently on in the background. Here is the description of the intriguing plot:

When a sous chef discovers her boyfriend is going to propose to her on Christmas Eve, she begins doubting their future together . . . especially when a handsome maple farmer rescues her from a snowstorm. (Now, he's whispering sweet maple nothings in her ear.)

Update, 5:00 PM:
Maple man for the win! He just proposed to the woman (who had broken off her engagement with the other man). Movie's over now.

Mike said the exact same thing. Hopefully they won’t overlap. BB’s last payment is July 1st (Canada Day), 2035. Realistically you should get 10 years out of Soto. If not - Juan Soto Day is going to be a heck of a lot more expensive than BB Day!

We went to see Moana 2 last night. It was pretty good, but I didn't like that they set it up for 3rd movie. Am I the only person who is OVER sequels, remakes, live action versions, etc? Just give us some NEW content, please??? Not a sequel. A brand new movie, with NEW characters and a NEW plot. And while you're at it, Disney, please give some NEW talent a chance. We don't need all-star casts and already famous actors. People will come to watch the movies because they look fun or interesting or relatable. We don't need a specific actor/actress to attract us to come watch just because of that person. If you never try someone new, you might miss an absolute gem!!

Amen to all of that, as it’s beyond getting old…!!!
