2025 Pantone color of the year View attachment 829396 sad dark beige
I liked it a lot. Even Googled it to see if I could find the Benjamin Moore equivalent.
Beats Millennial Grey.

If I wear that color, I look like I have the flu, a really bad one as it's too warm. If I wear brown it has to be very cool so in general I avoid it of course I have a nail polish almost that color but cooler that matches my skin in summer

It is a paint color but the color of the year tends to also creep into clothing. On an interesting note getting your colors done is a thing again. Still a winter not a brown in sight but lots of pinks, purples and blues. Red is another color I have to watch; it has to be a cool red with a touch of blueSee, my bias is showing.
I just automatically assumed it was a paint colour.
In terms of clothing, I own zero brown. Brown nothing … aside from a 20 year old leather coat.
I am a “summer” - cooler pastels. Now that I’ve embraced the salt and pepper, I might even have moved into the “winter” colours. I totally remember the 80’s when “getting your colours done” was a thing. I gather it’s making a comeback.
Not a lot of brown here:

That being said, I still think Mocha Mousse is a great paint colour.

Why is the whole world going darker and darker. Cars are either white or tan or black or gray. The next most popular is red but that is about 1 in 10. Everything is so drab looking. We have all those color receptacles in our eyes and we don't use any of them.

The only difference in my winter and summer clothing is that when it drops below 50 I wear long pants and perhaps a light weight jacket. Color is whatever is next in line in my closet. I try to keep my life a lot less complicated.Haven't a clue what my clothing color season is. I just buy whatever's on sale.
