I’m really hoping I can make it until we close down for Christmas, and then come back in the new year with tights and heels (which means tights and ballerina flats for 90% of the day) … and then back to flip flops in April.
Balance is always the key.....I believe in balance.
To be fair, often times benefits carry over for 3 months after termination, and if said benefits are taxable, a T4 would be issued for the 2025 tax year. Not sure about the situation south of the border.I wonder if people save stupid questions for Friday?
Like "I term and my last paycheck is 12/31/24. Will I get another W2 for 2025?" (W2 is a T4 in Canada Land)
I felt like replying "how many years have you been working and with your salary, I would think you would be smarter" but sadly, she went to HR submitted the question to us.

I believe in balance. And by balance, I mean 75-80% flip flops.
We all know gravity is not my friend. I need all the help I can get. It's easier to balance in flippy flops
I got away with that years ago. I have never been a hunter, never even owned a gun, so whatever season it was, I was oblivious too. One nice, but chilly day I went for a walk (I wouldn't call it a hike) into the wood near where we lived. After I got back home, it occurred to me that it was deer hunting season and I was wandering in the woods, in an area that did have deer, wearing my long length tan jacket. It shouldn't really have a problem if the hunters could have taken the time to be aware of the fact that very few of the deer population walk through the woods upright. Around that area they have been known to shoot first and ask questions later. Must have been the wrong time of day because I made it home unscathed and my head isn't currently displayed on somebodies wall.Hubs and I just came back from a few days' vacation up in the NH northern mountains (I posted a mini TR in chit chat).
Although I chose marked trails/areas where hunters tend not to go (they prefer deep woods, away from more popular hiking trails), I did still bring our blaze orange vests and hats, in case we ventured into certain areas. (Muzzleloader season ended the day we arrived; but firearms and archery extend to Dec. 8th, with a few various nuances/restrictions per wildlife management units, in the far northern blocks we were in. They're still hunting deer, but bear season was over, where we were.)
It's up and down the Eastern seaboard. Red flag warnings up here. No actual water restrictions -- yet.Hi friends!
My area now has mandatory water restrictions due to drought conditions for weeks and weeks.
Now my area states: No use of water outside the home. Examples, don't water plants, don't wash your car, don't spray-rinse your driveway, etc. Short showers are requested but hopefully the government won't come stand out my bathroom door and time me

I just got done watching Hot Frosty on Netflix. I like Lacy Chabert in movies so I tolerated this one.Sometimes you just gotta call “Uncle”.
Christmas Chronicles 2 -
We didn’t even make it half way through.
Hallmark, Catch a Christmas Star, the one with the brunette, not named Lacy Chabert. It was decent/enjoyable. The one song was sung too much but...............HallmarkI just got done watching Hot Frosty on Netflix. I like Lacy Chabert in movies so I tolerated this one.

In my lifetime I have known three people that had injuries from falling. One had crocs and the other two had flip flops. I think you backing the wrong team, but what the heck, free health care.We all know gravity is not my friend. I need all the help I can get.
