We took our niece to the character warehouse today to shop for stuff for her niece and nephew. She didn't find much for them but I scored this awesome calendar for $2.99. Each page is a poster size picture from the old days.

15 mins ago. Too cold for snow. We must have had ice pellets today though, my car windows were thick with ice.

(Can't remember if I've shared this, but my neighbour and I grew up together. For 7 years, we lived 5 houses apart; for 7 1/2 years, we lived 4 houses apart; and for the past 13 1/2 years, we've been direct next door neighbours.)

Anyway, I'm heading to bed. I've set a solid bedtime of 10pm for myself. That gives me the recommended 8 hours of sleep, and more than enough time to get ready in the morning. Good night party animals!

Hey @Andrew C, I hadn't seen the Canadian anthem being sung at the NBA All Stars Game when you last mentioned it.
I've seen it now. A dozen or more times. Plus, I've heard it on the radio news station at least as many.
Not a big leap here to say your kiddo was the only one who liked Blow-Your-Nose-Nelly's rendition. Canadians hated it! You can't sing along with that!
What good is an anthem you can't sing?
(I liked the flute though.)
