Where in the World Isn't Bob Saget?

Is that a Canadian thing? o_O
Selling someone their first home is a big deal.

Many of them have been looking for months, and to find the exact right home, at the right price makes people emotional. Once everything is finalized, I somehow get all the credit, and become their new best friend for a brief while.

They bring me food. They buy me gifts. Their children call me Aunty. The women hug me. And 15 years later, that little kid that I let use all my markers and highlighters (and hung his picture on the model home fridge) comes in with his/her new spouse to buy their first home from Jenny-fer.

Circle of life. But with hugging, rather than the killing and eating.

All of our insurance (3 cars plus home) comes due within 3 days of each other at the end of February.
Generally, we pay the home policy one shot; but auto, monthly.

We are trying to get rid of all monthly payments this year (except mortgage), so I'm planning to pay it all in one shot.

Home - $1208
Mine and Mike's cars (2013 and 2012) - $3806
2003 POC Cavalier (that only cost $3K) - $3524

Just one more reason to HATE February!

Picked up a new phone today during my lunch break. My old phone was a disaster. I have been holding onto it for quite some time now as I did not want to get a new one. But the battery on it turned into a joke so I really had no choice.

I'm babying my battery until a few weeks before I go to Disney, then getting a new iPhone so I have a fresh battery for the trip.

Went from an iPhone 5 to an iPhone 6s.
Nice!
Hubby had probs with his 5 - swollen battery.

I tried very hard to get him to take my 6 Plus, so I could get the 6S Plus, but noooooooo - Apple has to go and give him a brand new phone after they failed to repair it properly.

Good for him. Not so good for me.
You can guarantee I'll be getting a 7 once it's released though!

And here I have been complaining about my car insurance on the Cadillac. $632.00 per year! I guess I will keep quiet about it now.
