Where in the World Isn't Bob Saget?

Son #1's duvet cover washed up beautifully, much to my surprise, but the duvet itself is kaput.
I decided to put our old (used less than 12 months) King sized duvet and cover on the bed instead.

This is the fabric I'm working with:

These are the accessories I bought:

(A large framed painting to go over the bed, a bedside table lamp, really cheap grommet topped drapes, a funky Christmas tree in the appropriate colour palette, and a ridiculously priced fluffy pillow. Hubby will kill me if he finds out I spent $50 on a pillow; so let's keep it our little secret, shall we? He does not share my love of pillows.)

The bed, sort of made up:

(Like the duvet, the shams are reversible - print on one side, grey on the opposite. I'm not sure I like the grey side out on the shams. Once the room is repainted - same colour - and the drapes are hung, I will decide.)

Don't forget, mum's the word on that $50 pillow.

The first time I ever tasted Scotch, I was 18 and at the beach with a group of friends. We stopped at the liquor store and loaded up on a bunch of miniatures of different stuff. We were very inexperienced and had no idea what you suppose to mix with what.

Let me tell you that Scotch and Milk does not go well with Oreo cookies.
18 year-old me was excited to get his hands on Natty Light or the worst brand of vodka imaginable. He wouldn't know what to do with Scotch. Though he'd probably know it wouldn't mix with milk...

That Laverne really messed up a whole generation with her milk and Pepsi nonsense. Made y'all think that milk mixes with everything.

It doesn't.

I am exhausted. Beyond exhausted. And I ache from head to toe.

But what is this bearing down upon me?
My second wind. Go figure.
