Haven't reserved Deep Hole, but we might do it if it cools off a little here. I can't get DH in a canoe anywhere near a gato, but we;ll definitely do some hiking.

You don't have to reserve Deep Hole. Just first-come, first-serve at the park gates if you want a permit. They do some guided group expeditions certain times of the year that cost, and those require a reservation. But for just a regular hike there, they'll give you a permit at the park gates for free with entry if you ask.

Hope you guys have fun whatever you decide to do!

We had lunch here at this QS location. I had a penne pasta in a bolognese sauce. It was actually really good!

When we went we had lunch at Walt's, it was a good meal but the restaurant was a little dirty. I really liked the themed dining rooms, they were themed for each land in the park.

I love how the hill goes into the castle. It's so cool. But I think I'll still always be partial to Cinderella Castle. But this one is pretty neat, too!

So I did not take too many pictures as Walt Disney Studios as I was mostly recording video. But these are the ones I did take, which are mostly at the Ratatouille area. We used out fast pass for the attraction, which I absolutely loved. I thought it was really cool, a bit screen heavy, but really awesome anyways. I really likes the trackless ride system. I would totally dig a attraction similar to this at DHS.

Is that girl in the last picture, bottom left corner sipping from a baby bottle?

There were a couple attractions at the studios that we were not able to ride due to time and long waits; like tower of terror and crush's coaster. Oh, well...maybe when I go back in 10 years. :p We did get to see a few shows at the studios. Stitch live, which is like turtle talk with crush. Also a stage show called Anamagique which had characters from a few movies on stage singing and dancing. And of course, the disney junior show for the kid.

A few more photos at night below. We had dinner on our last night at a Mexican place (believe or not) called Fuente del Oro Restaurant. Again, pretty decent which surprised me.

A couple of the last attractions I rode included Star Tours and their Indiana Jones roller coaster. They still have the original Star Tours, which was cool to see but the film was very old and grainy. The Indiana Jones coaster was a fun little coaster with a single inversion. Not much theming.

The last attraction we rode was Big Thunder. We rode at night so it was a bit difficult to look at the detail of the theming. However, I would say that the track layout myself was my favorite from the 3 parks I have visited. Very fun!

All in all, it was a great two days. I really liked DLP and would definitely visit again. It has some of the charm of DL but more of the size of MK. With that being said, it still felt like it was missing something when I compare it to DL or MK. I cannot really put my finger on it but it did not seem to have the same "magic" of the other two, whatever that means. Maybe it is in my head, I don't know how to explain it. But again, we still had a blast.
