She sings...

- Price Tag
- Domino
- Bang Bang (ft. Ariana Grande and Nicki Minaj)
- Masterpiece
- Flashlight (from Pitch Perfect 2)
- Burnin' Up

She's been on the Voice UK and I think she's on the Voice Australia right now. She's an English singer/songwriter. She actually wrote Miley Cyrus' "Party in the USA".

Those are the highlights of her career so far. She's really only been popular since 2011, according to Wikipedia.

I know Bang Bang! :D

The message on the main page when you hover over the picture was:
"The thrower started hitting the bats too much, so the king of the game told him to leave and brought out another thrower from thrower jail."

It always makes me laugh that there is no thrower jail at Wrigley Field.

The thrower jail at Citizen's Bank park has 2 levels - and as the story goes - Billy Wagner was the closer when they were building the place and when he saw how close the second level (which was supposed to be for the Phillies) was to the fans he made them change that to the visitor's bullpen.

Here's a visual for those not familiar:

Is anyone else having issues with their self lacing Nikes? Mine aren't doing anything. I guess I better just lace them myself and jump on my hover board to get to work.

Wait, what the heck are these wheels doing on my hover board?!

I flew my DeLorean to work.

I don't think I ever shared this story but I'm feeling nostalgic so here you go:

I started watching baseball in 1984 when I was 11. My daughter is 11 and has been watching a lot of games with us these past 2 seasons so that's pretty special to me. Anyway, my grandmother - who was just awesome - used to come spend summers with us after my grandpa passed away and she was a rabid Mets fan so I would sit with her while she was watching and she taught me the game. I used to sit with her and score the games and somewhere have a collection of the paper scorecards. Anyway, in 1986, during the World Series, I had some sort of flu or something. Game 6 I had a really high fever and was laying on the couch, miserable. My parents had somewhere to be that night (and my sister was at college), so they left me home, on the couch, to watch the game myself. My dad knew I wasn't going to be able to stay awake with a fever and all, so he stuck a tape in the VCR before they left - just in case. Well my parents came home and woke me up and my dad asked if I saw the game. I replied that I fell asleep and asked if they won. He just told me I had to watch the game. So he rewound the tape to around the 8th inning and made me watch. I remember crying - hysterically - telling him he was the meanest person ever for making me watch them lose. And...well...you know the rest...no need to go into details there as others her have a decidedly different emotion tied to that game. The only day I can ever remember my parents letting me skip school when I wasn't sick was when my dad took me to the ticker tape parade down the canyon of heroes in Manhattan.

That's all. I've been thinking about all that a lot the past few weeks and I just needed to share it.

Love!
Reminds me of the Flula video I posted.
"Now we sing a song about popcorn."
