Where in the World Isn't Bob Saget?

Speaking of Bob Saget... (were we?)

Anyway, did anyone see the Lifetime movie a couple of weeks ago about the makin of "Full House"? I did. I meant to watch it as a guilty pleasure, and it was perhaps not as much a "pleasure" -- but I did find find it curious, especially in the way that they portrayed Bob Saget. They seemed to grind his dipleasure of Full House into the ground, and made him seem miserable even off set.

What did you all think?

I didn't see it Paul, but I did read the reviews later. Saget does have a less-than-stellar reputation, but our Saget is quite, well, "different"... :D

Last week, we got an email inviting us to an industry breakfast. I always weasel out. Hubby always goes.

I got a reminder email today, so I responded:
Me, no.
Mike, yes.

The boss responded with:
You, yes.

If it's mandatory (and I don't see how it can be, I've been laid off for 15+ months), then why ask?

It's more than a two hour drive to get there; 45 minutes or so of a very elaborate spread (that I don't eat); two hours of some talking head; an hour and a quarter home.

While occasionally entertaining, it's nothing more than an industry forecaster predicting where the market is heading. Seriously I can flip a coin and be equally accurate.

We have a Federal election four days after this event, and the THREE parties are in a dead heat.
If either of two of those bozos win, I can tell you where the market is going - to h-e-double hockey sticks in a hand basket. I don't need to get up at 5:30 to predict that.

Wouldn't it make sense if this event followed the election, then at least we would know if Trudeau wins - you know, the guy who has vowed to step in and cool hot housing markets?! (As if he could!)

Rant over.

You could move to Orlando and sell DVCs.

So, it looks like I must go.
If anyone is looking for me 10/15, I will be here:

Sigh.

Just for the record, Mike's partner M is exempt from going because, I kid you not, "M is an old man who needs his rest. You on the other hand, have had lots."

Anyone know a good lawyer? I think I have an age discrimination case here. :hilarious::hilarious:

I'd choose a good deli over Subway any day of the week.

I'm generally not a frequenter of chain quick service places. There are way too many mom & pop type places with far better food in my over-populated suburbia.

There's actually even a small mexican food place that I'd rather go to than Moe's or Chipotle.

I'm so anti-establishment.
I live in Brantford. Subway is as close to deli as we've got. We do actually have Mom & Pop pizza joints, but I don't like pizza all that much.

Good pizza > cheap chain store pizza.
The crappiest sub from Subway > good pizza. :)

(And now guess what I've got a hankering for.)
