My kids and I were discussing Disney rides and what used to be where and why things were removed and I guess I was having difficulty hiding my contempt over certain changes - which prompted my daughter to ask, "So Disney is just like basically wrecking your childhood?"

Well...no...not entirely. But kind of in a way if you think about it.

Nah, I'm good. There are a few attractions they must never touch, but so far they haven't; so like I said, I'm good.

20K: I'm sort of OK with it now that there's a cool ride instead of a cement playground. But I miss the lagoon. A lot.
Mr. Toad: Pooh is fine. I actually enjoy it. Maybe someday I'll get to DL and see my friend Toad again.
Snow White: I get it. But gutting it for a meet and greet makes me angry. Should have built a new dark ride.
Stitch makes me mad.
Imagination makes me mad.

Other than that I'm good.

I went to Epcot once around 1993, so I remember Wonders of Life, but never went to MK and the other parks until September 2003.

Of course I'd welcome improvements, such as what HM got a little while back, and the Splash refurb, and a Yeti fix would be well welcomed, but if those ride ever went away I'd be very sad. Also, I didn't put SSE in there because of its sad shape right now, but overall that ride should never leave - just be improved.

Flying through Boston and then into Buffalo before crossing the boarder...still have not decided which bridge to cross.

Beats the carp out of VotLM, BatB, Muppets 3D, EO (duh!), and a host of other A/B attractions.
A bunch of C's/D's too.

We passed on it, but I've seen video clips of it, which I know isn't the same, but it's more than I wanted to see. Never seen VotLM, but BatB I always find boring. Love Muppets, and EO is in competition for the worst attraction at WDW. It's not like there's a lot of strong competition there.

The main thing I miss about MK is the kinetic energy that the Skyway added to the park.

That and the missing Magic Shops....they were an attraction in and of themselves.
