Where in the World Isn't Bob Saget?

I have a deceptively busy day - it's really just a street fair where hubby is bringing the foster dog and **hopefully** he gets adopted and a party. But my daughter slept out so I need to get her at some point, plus I need to get to the supermarket for chips for the party, plus my son likes to go out for breakfast when my daughter sleeps out (she HATES going out to breakfast - which I find weird to be honest) and I need to practice my violin because I'm playing at an assisted living tomorrow plus my son's room needs to be cleaned really well because he was coughing last night so there must be dust!! So I have more to do than just go places but in my head I just have places to go.

I blame Meg.

BTW, my nephew is dating a girl named Meg, and she's quite nice. I just chuckle when I mention her name.

See - my mother in law would say, "I like Meaghan so I'm going to call you that". She's a bit - forceful - sometimes.
My mother in law called me "Jen".
Hubby has a fairly big family, some of whom we only see once/year.

Those who knew me primarily through my MIL call me Jen; the family members who actually like me and know call me "Jennifer".

Hubby called me Jen earlier this summer and I nearly fainted! In almost 30 years, he has NEVER called me Jen. I did not like it. He has since done it twice more. He's lucky this marriage is not a game of baseball - that would have been his third strike!

For some reason, I liked my MIL calling me Jen. My hubby, not so much.

Lighten up Jen! :hilarious:
