Where in the World Isn't Bob Saget?

Ok...photo time.

Day 3: DCA, some DL, and then back to DCA

During the morning, we spent some time in Bugs Land to take the kid on some rides. We also saw shows like Disney Journey Live on Stage where she went nuts and danced the entire time. Eventually, we made it into Carsland.

More to follow...

My point was, my dear, that in one post you are praising him for his honesty about it not being a picture that he took and a few posts later you are saying that it is OK to blame the kids. So which one is it, honesty... good or dishonesty... good. One of us is very confused here. It might be me, but, no that can't be it. Can it? :angelic:

If it is me it's probably because I am getting old. Respect your elders young lady! And get the hell off my lawn.
I'm staying the heck off everyone's lawn ... at least until I figured out what caused these stupid hives.

More Carsland and a few others.

I was able to ride Radiator Springs Racers by waiting in the single riders line, which took 15 to 20 minutes to get through so not bad. It was really cool. The cars AA's were pretty impressive and some of the hills on the race track were really fun. Definitely a headliner. The land overall was smaller than I pictured it to be but still very awesome. And it did feel like you step right into the movie.

It is NOT the same thread...the title is even different.

But you seem to want to start the same BS that got the other thread closed.

Keep that stuff in CCCC.
haha oh wow!!!.. now you blaming me of something I never did?

well I get the hint.. clearly not welcomed here.

will not waste my time then.

Before we headed over to DL for the afternoon, we had lunch at Smokejumper Grill. It was decent enough as we really just felt like a burgers and fries type lunch.

Once back at DL, we spent some time in Toon Town (which I did not really take pictures of during this time) and Fantasyland. We also ended up having dinner somewhere in Critter Country but I honestly forget where. During this time I really did not take many photos with the exception of my kid meeting some characters. I do go picture crazy once again when we go back to DCA for the evening.

Back to DCA for the evening.

Shortly after dinner we headed back to DCA as we had fast passes for the World of Color (or Colour for some of us here). You definitely do need FP for this show so it was a good thing we grabbed them that morning.

The show was amazing. Probably one of my favorite Disney shows ever...if not THE favorite. They changed it a lot from what I understand for the Diamond Celebration to focus on Walt, which I was 100% totally fine with. The kid stayed awake for this show unlike the parade the previous night. She was in awe during the whole thing and called out all the characters as they were projected on the water.

Waiting for it to get dark and for WOC to start.

The only picture I took during the show. Not very good but I thought I would share it anyways.

Last up for tonight..Carsland and some other parts of DCA at night.

As the evening winded down and the park was about to close, we went back to Carsland so I could snap some photos. I am a big fan of neon so it was something I could not pass on. The kid passed out right after WOC so we were free to walk as we wished.

Overall DCA is a very nice park. It seems like it needs just a bit more to make it a true full day park but that is just my opinion. There are definitely parts of it that are very impressive.

One a side note, this day was almost as busy as the previous day. Lines were long at both parks (and crowded) so I never did get to ride California Screamin. That does not bother me too much though as I have been on more impressive coasters anyways.

So that is all for today. One more day left at the parks, which I can hopefully post tomorrow.

While I wouldn't presume to speak for someone else, I will say that I didn't feel that @unkadug was blaming you in any way for what went down last year. In fact, I dare say you had NOTHING to do with it.
I took his comment to mean that he just wants to be sure it doesn't happen again. This is a different thread, albeit with a slightly similar name.

There is no "us" and "them"; except by those who choose to make it so. You will notice that there are lots of crossover posters. Everyone is welcome to post what they want where they want. You are welcome to post here, in CCCC, in News & Rumours ....

I enjoy what you bring to the conversation. Please do not take offence where none was directed at you specifically. We're all friends. :)

I forgot to go to the library today. Good thing I picked up a few Agatha Christies at the garage sale a few weeks ago.

Have a good night everyone. I'm bound, bent, and determined (what does that even mean?) to have an early (ish) night tonight.

Making tea first. Who wants one?

I thought you were having an earlier night tonight?
Technically not late yet.
3:00 is normal, so I could still be under the covers/lights out within 10 minutes.

I've got one kid and one "extra kid" both still out and about, so I'm not likely to fall asleep before I hear one or the other puttering around in the kitchen.
