Where in the World Isn't Bob Saget?

We ended up waiting for Mine Train, and it opened around 9:15. After that we did our Tron virtual queue. I'll give thoughts on that later.

Then we did Carousel of Progress and the Peoplemover before eating lunch at Columbia Harbor House. I had the chicken strips.

Then we went and explored Tom Sawyer Island for a while before watching the Country Bears. After that we went to the Tiki Room, which I probably haven't seen in 10 plus years... and probably won't again for another 10 plus years. Not my favorite.

We then got some ice cream. My dad got Dole Whip and I got a citrus swirl float.

Then we rode around the MK on the train before heading back to the resort.

We're about to head back to Epcot. We were trying to decide what to do tonight, but AK closes so early and Hollywood Studios has long waits across the board. So we're going to Epcot for a couple hours. We haven't decided if we are going to watch Epcot Forever again or watch the light shows on Spaceship Earth.

So my Tron review...

It's a solid ride, but SUPER short. And I mean SUPER short. It's one thing reading about it, and another thing to actually experience it.

It's also hard to not compare it to Guardians. Guardians is far superior, so I feel like Tron is kind of disappointing in that sense. But if you take the context of Guardians away, it's a solid ride.

Overall, I'd say it's probably going to be overrated, but still worth doing at least once per trip.

I'll give it a 4 out of 5. Good, but not an elite attraction.

I'm hoping to ride it two more times this trip, so I'll let you know if my opinion changes.

Yes! I did the same picture last year, so I did it again to see if some of you would learn.
That floor was one of the first things I noticed when I went to Country Bears in 1983. I'm pretty certain it was before you were even born. It actually is the first thing I noticed about the way Disney detailed stuff. So few people at the time ever noticed that they represented bear claw scratches.

We got to Epcot and rode Spaceship Earth since it was just a 5 minute wait. Then we did the Gran Fiesta Tour. It was a walk on.

Then we walked up and got the toasted pretzel bread from the Germany festival booth. I wanted it last year, but never got it. So I was determined to get it this year. And it was worth it. Very good. 5/5.

As we were walking to get the pretzel bread, I managed to get another Guardians virtual queue... it was 6:45 at night. I was blown away that it was still open almost 6 hours after the second queue opened.

After the pretzel bread we at more... this time trying out the Creations Eatery. We each got pizza. Mine was pepperoni. I was a little skeptical based on the usual Disney quick service pizza. But this was much better. I also tried the apple pie gelato shake. That was okay, but nothing special. As a whole, I'd say it was pretty solid. 4/5.

Next we walked to the front of Spaceship Earth to watch the light shows. That was another thing we missed last year, and I really wanted to see. They didn't disappoint. They were great. So good that I may have taken 144 pictures of it. Potentially. 5/5.

My dad left early to make it up to Guardians before the park closed. So I hustled up to meet him. We made it, and had our third straight day with Guardians. Not too shabby.

I hadn't thought we'd do both Tron and Guardians in the same day. So I'll say that's a win.

Pictures from the whole day to come.

It's also our last night at Coronado. I LOVE the tower. I'm very torn on whether I like Coronado or Riverside better.

The rooms at the tower are spectacular. The tower itself is amazing. I love everything about the tower.

The part that's not as good is the rest of the grounds. Riverside has superior ambience and food court. Coronado probably has the pool, but I'm not a big pool person.

We're checking in at Riverside tomorrow, so maybe that will give me some clarity. However, I do worry that the newness and spaciousness of the tower rooms is going to make Riverside look run down.
