Where in the World Isn't Bob Saget?

When you're the leader, you don't have to follow.
After dinner, we walked around, went in a few shops. Didn’t buy anything except at Paula Deen’s. Then we watched the fountain show.

IMG_3119.jpegIMG_3120.jpegIMG_3121.jpeg

Now we’re back in the room. Mike is watching hockey - Florida at Boston. He’s hoping it goes the full seven games … let them beat the heck out of each other and hopefully move into the next round battered and tired. This all presupposes the Leafs make it out of their first round … and history will tell you that’s a big stretch.

Lunch tomorrow at the Old Mill with our innkeeper pal.

@JenniferS -- I'm loving your TR!!! (Thank you for my plaque. 🥰 ) All the activities you guys did yesterday are right up my alley. Those types of mountain coasters are a blast. I've been on a few between here (MA) and one up in NH. I understand Mike slowing down a little bit in some spots, because you do feel like you could jump the track in some sections. Oh, I loved the Skybridge,, too!

I can’t even begin to tell you how full we are.
I had a 60-calorie Greek yoghurt for lunch, and Mike had the last of the TimBits. We. Were. Hungry.

And now we’re not. 😂

Chicken - two ways.

Fried catfish. So good.

The sides. Mashed potatoes and mac’n cheese. Pass. Broccoli casserole.
View attachment 712761

And salad. I ate the whole thing … minus the tomatoes, of course.

My first plate:

Refills. Oh look, another salad. I ate that one too.

There was a third salad. Mike ate that one. No pic. Dessert to go.
Those aren't real tomatoes, those are gassed baseballs;) I honestly don't blame you!

We are pretty beat up and Vasy is NOT playing to his usual greatness.
Beat up or not, the Leafs choke. Usually in the first round … on the rare occasion they even make it to the post season.

It’s not for nothing they hold the record for the longest Stanley Cup drought. 🤦🏻‍♀️

I’m not a hockey girl, can you tell?

Another fine lunch at the Old Mill. It’s not fancy, but it’s so good, and the servers are always super friendly. Pure southern hospitality.

Take out that biscuit and I could have eaten the whole basket. I didn’t, but I wanted to.
IMG_3126.jpeg

Corn chowder. Everybody gets one. I only took one pic.
IMG_3127.jpeg

Country fried pork chop for me. Extra green beans, no potato.
IMG_3128.jpeg

Country fried steak for Mike.
IMG_3129.jpeg

Our pal got a boring grilled chicken sandwich. 😂
IMG_3130.jpeg

Only Mike had room for dessert, what with only eating his whole meal and half of mine. I swear, I have no idea how he stays so thin.
Two views, because Tennessee banana pudding is a beautiful thing.

Darn, just found these in my photo roll. From Tuesday:

We have weed stores EVERYWHERE at home, but the law requires that the windows be opaque, so you’d never see this.

Also, Ski advised me to stay far away from Delta 10. It’s crazy strong. Okay son, I will. 😂

WOW!! Those chocolate (and/or caramel) covered apples look delish!! :hungry: Sometimes, with the fancier, thickly decorated ones (your top photo), you practically need a knife and fork to eat. ;)
