Where in the World Isn't Bob Saget?

2:00 here. I am off work till Tuesday.
I’m working from home. I have a big eblast going out tonight, so my weekend is shot. I’ve also got 3 Zooms scheduled.

I need to sell 5 more homes virtually, or they’re re-opening my sales office next weekend. Brampton is one of the biggest COVID hotspots in the country, so I’m not eager. At all.

I sold 2 last night, so only 3 to go!

The two builders and the ad agency are haggling over the wording of the eblast.

I’m just sitting back saying nothing.

In other news, I’m not sure if I mentioned that Mike picked up a 3 day/week gig for my company. He starts tomorrow. It’s going to be weird not being home together after months of “sheltering at home”.

I technically work again on Monday, but hardly anyone in my classes are participating for summer school. So I pretty much just respond to this one annoying parent who asks questions about EVERYTHING, and then give feedback to the couple of students who turn things in.

Well, I don't work from home as I am an ER Nurse so during this whole mess I was essential. I can tell you I have seen it all, been tested. As you may know by the news my Province is doing things a little different without really saying it is a phase, but opening things gradually. It pretty much the same type of idea, but the Premier McNeil I don't think wants to be cornered with specific dates and parameters. So it is a little different. It really doesn't effect me much at all with work related measures because I have got to be there.

I hope you sell those last 3 homes. I can't imagine trying to sell a home during this time.

I’ve sold 23 virtually since May 1st.

There is ZERO reason to re-open the sales office to sell the final 8! 🤦🏻‍♀️

Thank you for your work. It is much appreciated. ❤️

I totally agree with you. It is much better to be safe than putting yourself out there even if you are wearing a mask. There is a reason why this virus is being treated the way it is and things are being opened gradually. I work in the Emergency Department so I have not seen patient die from this virus, but I know that they have in the hospital I work at. I have however seen many people in the ER that were very sick and it is sad because we as Nurse and also the Doctors become who they have as support because no one can come in with them.

Not today - the sprinkler guy is coming to figure out why multiple zones keep opening. I might not get a nap today. Which is probably what I need to get my days back on track!
I work 3 twelve hour shifts and 4 days off. So I actually love my work schedule. Those 3 days are extremely exhausting and I really do need the 4 days in between. I do take naps sometimes on these days off.

Okay, shower time.
I Zoom at 5:00.

Hopefully Mike takes Daisy outside for 10 minutes, otherwise I will have to take her up with me. Just like when the boys were toddlers ... except she doesn't flush the toilet 20 times just for the joy of hearing me holler!

My ads were awful yesterday with popping over the text box, so I couldn't type on my phone.

Oddly, late yesterday, I also had a couple of really disruptive ones as well. Not on the computer, but on the phone. I don't log in on the phone, but sometimes I'll read the forums when I get a chance. (I don't mind ads, but when they start slowing up the speed, or covering forum text, it's obnoxious.)

I was well over 100, I stopped counting, and was a double donor... Two for the price of one. Then I was diagnosed with Prostate Cancer and could no longer donate. It was upsetting to me because I felt it was one of the few things that I could do to help others. I jokingly suggested that they label my blood for females only because it was just about close to impossible for them to get Prostate Cancer. They were not amused. I do wonder, if what I did donate was a problem for anyone, since my cancer type is a very, very slow growing thing and I probably had it for 10 years or so before my PSA was high enough to alarm anyone. That would kind of be counter productive to my original intent.

I have to wonder just what it will take to make me faint. Even when I had that bout with Sepsis and my BP was 60/25 I didn't even feel light headed. I needed to use the bathroom but the staff went bonkers and insisted that I had to use a wheelchair, I refused, at first, because, frankly, at the time I didn't realize that my BP was that low or that it might cause me to be unsteady.

For the benefit of @JenniferS, I just remembered that I was rendered unconscious once when I was 12 years old and had the bike accident where I went over the handle bars and landed on my head. (Three bounces and I was out) All I remember after that was waking up with bike in front of me and my head resting on the side of the seat. I had never before or since felt so totally relaxed as I did that moment. Then I moved my arm and the effect was gone. There wasn't a spot on my body that wasn't hurting. Wanna know the best part? I never told anyone until a couple of days later when I developed what turned out to be a blood clot on my abdomen. I didn't know what it was, but, even though I really wasn't displaying a whole lot of bright up until then, decided that I should tell someone. I had been wearing long sleeve shirts in mid-July to hide the skinned arms and let my hair (I had some then) sort of fall down over my forehead to hide the injury on my head. The doctor gave me a major dressing down for being so stupid. He said I had a serious concussion, Arms and hands that could have been infected (they weren't) and a blood clot that could have killed me. Also I was racing my bike after being told not to by my parents and that didn't set well with them either. It was a dark period of my young life. However, it could have been much, much worse.

I have two comments. First, that is nothing short of amazing that you donated over 100 times -- very impressive. Wow!

Second comment -- at first, (because your post was text heavy), I sort of glanced quickly through the information you shared. Somehow, in my careless speed glancing, my eyes misread your joke about labeling your blood for "females only", and I thought I read, for "primates only"!! :D:hilarious: I laughed so loud!! :p
