Where in the World Isn't Bob Saget?

Wonder if it’s related to last night’s iOS update, as now I have to tap twice - even for a plain like.
Did you have to or did you just think because it came up with the list of others that you had to click on that one as well. If all you want is the thumbs up, just do that initial "like" and it will be thumbs up. At least that is what it does on my machine. It should for your's as well. I just did it again 30 seconds ago.

It’s official. Our state of emergency has been extended to June 2nd.

On the other hand, Dougie has promised good news coming Thursday about Phase 1.

And me, I’m still content to stay put.

Turns out I actually can sell million dollar homes whilst still in my jammies; my hubby cooks wonderful (albeit garlic-centric) meals 5x week; Ski is back to work, so the boys aren’t bugging me too much; and Mike and I never argue about anything except his maniacal driving.

Nowhere to drive to, ergo, it’s all sunshine and lollipops. 😂

When you're the leader, you don't have to follow.
I think I might finally drive tomorrow.
If I’m not doing a couple of deals, I’ll drop Mike at the grocery store and then head up the highway to the butcher.

I haven’t driven since February 6, the day before my surgery, so I suggest y’all stay off the roads. Or cross your fingers I get busy typing deals. Whichever.

I’ve been driving for more than 36 years, but this is the longest I’ve gone without driving since I got my beginners (I think you call it a learner’s permit) when I was 16.

I would have been cleared to drive at my 6-week follow up appointment, but that got cancelled, and since then there’s been nowhere to go. 🤷🏼‍♀️

I haven't driven since October. We were discussing last night whether we should buy a second car for DH to use for all his odd jobs he does for friends and family. I don't think it's necessary any more for us, and frankly it's nice having no car payment, no extra insurance, registration fees and inspection fees tat we'd have with a second vehicle.

Inspections keep getting more difficult as well (at least here) with all the stupid computer things (sensors that can just go off intermittently for no apparent reason -- but might also get your car inspection rejected). :banghead: Ugh. Ours is coming up by the end of next month, and it was delayed (per the Registry) by a 60-day extension, only because of covid concerns. So we're looking at a 60-day, stay of execution, possibly.

Those would still come in handy. I’ve gotten better than I used to be, but there are still certain kinds of foods I really don’t like to touch. A good example of what still bothers me is if I have corn and the juice from it starts contaminating my mashed potatoes. Anything that has some kind of liquid I try to keep separated. Typically I just space them out on my plate.
So....I'm not the only one who doesn't like my food to fraternize? (I tried to find a clip from Gilmore Girls where Lorelai is picking avacado out of her salad, then later she's picking out tomato and Emily asks her what's wrong with the tomato, and she says "It was fraternizing with the enemy!", but I couldn't find it. :( ) I don't like my food to touch either.

One of my daughters has a Pit (full blood). She is the sweetest dog I have ever seen. The worlds worst watch dog other then the normal Pit stare. That would scare anyone away, but the worst she would do is lick them to death. My other daughter has a Jack Russell. The only dog that I have ever met that hates me for some reason. And it isn't anything I ever did. We don't know what, but from the first moment he saw me to right now, the moment I am in view he starts to bark, growl and run back and forth. The only way it stops is when my SIL claps his hands real loud, The dog just runs for cover at that point. Even when he stops the barking he continues with a guttural growl if I get anywhere near. None of us can figure out why. He doesn't do that with anyone else. He is a rescue and all we can figure is that I must look like someone that did him harm at some point. I'd prefer a less intelligent dog with a short memory.
Do you have a brother or sister who did something to him? When I was a kid, we had a little dog....cocker spaniel and chihuaua mix, and my dad came over to the house and our dog was really hyper. My dad took a dislike to him and picked him up and threw him several feet away. After that, the dog would bark and nip at my dad whenever he came over, and when his sister came over, he nipped at her, too, though she had never done anything to him. We think they may have smelled alike or something? And my dog was the friendliest dog ever....the only people he EVER nipped at were my dad and my aunt, and the meter reader who hit him with a stick when he was in the yard.
