We were just talking about Steak-Umms the other night. I wasn't sure if they still made them, but DH assured me that they do. That was one of our go-to meals when we were first married. Quick and reasonably tasty.

Oh my -- I haven't heard of that food item for ages!! I am also surprised that it's still around, and guess it's still popular, from what I've been reading! :joyfull:

My house was kosher growing up so we couldn’t have that in the house. When I went to my friend Kerry’s house her mom grabbed the box from the freezer as soon as I walked in the door. I LOVED Steak-umm sandwiches!
I'd guess that falls into the whatever we are not allowed to have is the best stuff ever, syndrome. I loved Steak-umm's too, however, then I discovered thinly sliced deli Roast Beef was better so I haven't bought Steak-umm's since. Old habits cause me to always stop and look at them in the display showcase and think I'd like them again, but my cheap cell kicks in and I just walk away. I do love Cheese steak sandwiches, but not with Cheez Whiz, just good old Roast Beef, Provolone, grilled onions and peppers. Would a Cheese Steak Sandwich be out of place for breakfast? Asking for a friend.

(not my picture - thank you turnto10 news)
I should mention that the Big Bue Bug is an icon here(representative of a local exterminating company), perched on the edge of I-95 as you enter Providence. He's traditionally decorated for holidays, and other happenings in the city. Here's a few of his past appearances:

His official name is Nibbles Woodaway, but I don't know anyone who realy calls him that.

Steak & eggs - hold the eggs. Seems reasonable to me!

I used to work with a woman who was from China and her English was a little spotty. There was a McDonald’s next to the office (sooo dangerous!) and a few of us walked there one day and she ordered a cheeseburger hold the cheese. She didn’t realize that a hamburger was the same thing she thought a hamburger was - well - ham. She laughed so hard when we explained it to her.

Congratulations! Are you completely done now? How exciting for you!

Not finished yet. I have one year left. I’m finally starting to feel like I’m getting close to being finished though. Before I felt like I’d never get there. We’ve also covered almost everything we need to, so the rest of the classes will mostly be review to get us ready to pass registry.
Pigeon Forge!

That works for me!

I've thought of you during every test I've had these past 6 months - I have a lot of respect for those who do this daily!
