I have tried all four. I prefer the two Canadian versions. I like our chocolate better.

Skor is more buttery and sticky, with no visible almonds. Crispy Crunch is a wee bit flatter, and easier to tuck into a corner of your mouth while you take a sip of tea to make things all melty.

This is an Aero. It’s famous for its “bubbles”. It melts the best.

I’ve read somewhere that our Skor is slightly different than yours because of the chocolate.
I don’t think I’ve had a US Skor.

ETA - Yup, Canadian chocolate is higher in fat, and slightly less “gritty”. Hershey’s chocolate here is different than yours.

I’ve had an Aero before, but not the other two. I’ll have to try them. I really think they changed the Butterfinger recipe- the filling tastes different than I remember. Do you have the Reese’s peanut butter cups up there? Another favorite in Blizzards!

Absolutely we have Reese Peanut Butter Cups. I posted a pic the other day somewhere.

I like the mint too, but they don’t melt quite as well.

The best mint chocolate bar is Laura Secord French Mint. Y’all aren’t that enamoured of Laura Secord the person, but the chocolate brand is divine.

I decided tomorrow when I get up I’m going to make an empanada dough and then later fill them with taco meat and shredded cheese for dinner. Probably not traditional empanadas but the kids will eat them and it’s something different to eat!

Now they’re made by Nestle, but when I was a kid, they were made by Rowntree.
