Seconding this, Nemo. The best part of surgery is when they first put you under. You go off to sleep and it's so peaceful.

The surprise announcement Tuesday makes Iger executive chairman. Chapek was most recently chairman of Disney Parks, Experiences and Products.
People are not happy.
I don’t really know enough about Chapek to formulate a valid opinion.
I was just coming to ask what this actually means for TWDC, and specifically the parks. I've heard negative things about Chapek, but I haven't heard anything overwhelmingly positive about anyone since Walt was CEO. I know people disliked Eisner, they disliked Iger, they already dislike Chapek.I’m reading the thread in N&R.

He was supposed to remain as CEO until the end of 2021 ... almost two years away. Something is up.

I dont think so. He is still staying on until then and Chapek is reporting to him. Just maybe a transition plan they decided on.
