Ok seriously though, she called the cops on it??

a. Her house borders the woods
b. It was leaving the porch anyway.

What'd they expect the cops to do? Tell it to stop being bear?

I think it's because city/surburban folks don't know how to deal with bears, moose, coyotes, etc. Around here as well, people just call 911 and report them. Years ago, it was rare for these types of animals to emerge beyond country areas, but unfortunately, as we encroach/build up on what used to be "wild" areas, the animals are roaming into neighborhoods they never had in the past. I always feel bad for the wildlife.

I’ve already confessed this:
- I gained 5 lbs at WDW last year
- another 15 between my hip surgery and broken leg
- another 15 after my brother died in February and I fell into a vat of Dairy Queen ....

Since we buried my brother 5 weeks ago, I’ve lost 15 lbs, and was starting to feel a little bit better.

And then today, some guy comes in and tells me maybe my leg would heal if I dieted and exercised. 🙄

JenniferS - the epitome of politeness ... did not say a word until I heard his car door shut. Then I told him to (I’ll let you fill in the blanks with a four letter word and a three letter word).
Love you?

I thought most like to get the sale?
We don’t pay a co-op fee or referral, so in their mind, we are stealing their buyers.

This guy didn’t even have any clients with him. He just came in to get a price list and pick my brain. I see him every 6-8 months.

He meant well, I’m sure. And after he got back in his car, I expressed my appreciation for his thoughtful words. 😉

Back from Montauk. We had ZERO cell service for the entire time we were there. It was glorious. Kids riding bikes, going to the beach and playing kickball, morning to night, checking in when they were hungry and when it got dark to grab glow necklaces and head out again. Adults walking campsite to campsite bringing food they made or checking in with others there. Sitting around the campfire telling stories and laughing. It was like small town America for a few days. Awesome vacation.
