I thought about writing to the Governor of Florida about that shameful situation. (I mean, it's the Orange State, not the Grapefruit State), but, decided that it probably wasn't worth it.

So the last 10 times I have gotten to the Florida Welcome Station, I just waved on my way past or if I did stop it was just to use the facilities leaving behind the same nasty stuff as the GJ.

I love to walk around and get brochures to add to my collection. Even if it's closed by the time I get there, I usually stop & walk around the outside a bit to stretch my legs after driving. Has become a tradition to always visit there on the way down.
