Where in the World Isn't Bob Saget?

I never got one, couldn't justify altering my natural beauty. However, years later I worked with guys that got one in their youth and now look like they have some type of blue skin blotches all over there arms. Can't even tell what they once were. Never had anything against them except I often wondered how it felt when in their geriatric grandma years they had to go to doctors and some once risque tat was on a wrinkled butt or some other location that is no longer where it once was.
Yup, that is why I considered it for years.

Nothing risqué. Nothing that will fade to a blue blob. And nothing that shows (rear left shoulder), unless I specifically choose to display it. On the plus side, shoulders tend to stay in place no matter how old you get, so there’s not much chance that Mickey’s gloved hand will end up on my behind.

Not likely... but possible. Have you seen how bent over we old people are?

How are you feeling, by the way?
Have they successfully diagnosed your back pain and treated it yet? Back to work?
Not back to work, but, the back pain is under control through physical therapy. However, a week or so ago I went to the eye clinic to have my vision checked (I was thinking I wasn't seeing as well as before) and ended up having Cataract Surgery. In the process, due to the fact that my lenses tend to hang on tight, my cornea was scratched and I'm now patiently waiting for clear vision to return to my eye as it heals. I had to resign because I had no way of knowing (with my back problem) how long it would take to go back to work. Then before I could ask if they wanted me back along came the Cataract. We'll see in a couple more weeks were everything is.

Two steps forward, one step back. Par for the course at any age.

Fingers crossed you get all sorted out comfortably soon. In the meantime, what’s Judge Judy up to?
(That’s what old people watch, right? At least that’s what my kids say to me every time I watch it.)

Don't know I've never seen it. I'll let you know if that is true when I get old.

SeaWorld has a January special going on for AP holders, where an Ap holder can bring a guest in for free, so we took my sister and her husband up there today (and saw 2 bald eagles on our way there!). The weather was perfect and even the tour groups were well behaved. here's a few highlights:IMG_5415.JPGIMG_5387.JPGIMG_5437.JPGIMG_5421.JPGIMG_5477.JPGIMG_5445.JPG

My mother and I went there back in mid-80s. Do they still have the water ski shows? I loved watching the precision of the water ski performers, even more than watching the various shows with dolphins, etc.

No the water shows are long gone, but it's still a lot of fun there.

No more water ski shows at Sea World. No more water ski shows at the (also gone) Cypress Gardens. Sigh.

Oh well, I'm glad that you still had fun with the various exhibits at Sea World. Sounds like you had a fun day together.

My BIL and DH have been working quite hard this week on some house renovations, so my sister and I have been basically staying out of their way, so it was nice to get them away from it for a day.

The place where I got my tattoo does not take walk-ins. They also have a sign that says they will not ink anyone who appears to be drunk or high.

After months of working up the courage to walk into the tattoo parlour, I was surprised (and maybe a little relieved) to discover that they were booking almost three months in advance. While I was there, someone called in with a cancellation, so I actually lucked out, only having to wait a couple of weeks.

I have zero regrets. I absolutely love my tattoo. Mike tells me how “cute” it is a few times/week. That being said, unlike most people, I do not feel the irrepressible urge to get a second, or third.
My ex just got his sleeves redone. It took just over 12 hours for each arm. I can't sit still for that long!
