Where in the World Isn't Bob Saget?

I baked today and made a batch of fudge. Tomorrow I'll make the cherry breads and start packing again.

Mmm . . . cherry bread.

So, I have a few spices in the kitchen, and most of them are probably years old by now. :p But I do take my gingerbread cookies seriously, and I went out last Saturday and bought a new one of these:

Just saying, but opinions of some of the final 5 have changed quite a bit in the minds of some people since the last time you watched.

Also, Russell was robbed in Samoa. In HvV, Parvati was robbed.
So, I just tuned in in time to see one of my three is sitting with the two I don’t really care for.*

* acknowledging that I have no idea what has transpired in the past 7 weeks. I could be rooting for a real weasel, who knows?

If I'm reading it right, I liked that person, but now don't.

Are you watching?
Yes. I am live-posting in the Survivor thread, just posting comments without anyone else reading because I'll forget my comments if I don't make them during the commercial break. And my latest comment just talked about the excessive amount of commercials. Survivor has usually been pretty good about not showing tons of commercials. I feel like I'm watching an NFL game.

Sent you a PM, so as to not spoil it for anyone recording for later.

I know in my head that there is a great deal of beauty in the picture. I couldn't tell you where it is, but, I know it's there. Perhaps the beauty of it is in the fact that I don't live there. My heart hates it and I always go with my heart.
I like it for two, maybe three weeks/year. A week or two before the Holidays to put me in the spirit, and a week or so afterward, so the little kiddies can play with their snow toys.

I do have great memories of taking the boys tobogganing all those years. Run down the hill after them. Pull them back up the hill on the sled. Lather, rinse, repeat.

I also have the best memories of my dad making me a rink every year. Right up until I was 19 and moved out. And then, when I had kids, he would come here and ice the rink until the wee hours of the morning. He would come in to warm up, and while he sat on the fireplace hearth, I would make him tea.

As much as I am a warm weather girl, other than Disney, my best memories, both as a child and as an adult, seem to be centred in a winter tableau. Go figure.

I was thinking of you today - I'm so glad that you got to meet him. I know it meant a lot to you. ((hug))

Thank you. I can use all the hugs I can get right now. I can't begin to express how big an impact RC had on my life. I discovered him at a time in my life when I had rejected many of the things I was taught growing up and was trying to understand what to believe. I've never known anyone with his combination of brilliance and ability to communicate. I'm going to miss him, but thankfully he recorded so much material and authored so many books that I will still be learning from him for years to come. On monday I was told that they still have years of material he recorded to sort through.

It's Iger and Chapek. I'm good with faces but bad with names.
I used to blame it on the fact that I didn’t wear my glasses, but as you know, I wear them all the time now, so ....

I’m good with voices though. As soon as I hear my Purchasers speak, I know their lot number, closing date, and if they’re a “problem”.
