These past two weeks have been difficult for me. I've been worried about my pastor, Dr. R.C. Spoul, because he was in the hospital in critical condition. This afternoon he went home to be with the Lord. I know he's in a better place now but I still feel devastated. The big reason I moved here was because I knew he was in declining health and I wanted to sit under the preaching of my favorite theologian while I still had the chance. Being able to call R.C. my pastor has been such a blessing and I'll always cherish the time I spent under his teaching. I'm really going to miss that man.

So glad you made the move when you did though.

I'm so sorry. It's always hard to lose someone who means so much to you. You will always have the take away of what you learned from him and you can pass those messages on. I'm glad you had the chance to be taught by him.
