I also really like it too. Love watching the faces of the little kids thinking they're driving a car on their own--so cute! And for all the complaints I've heard about it over the years, just go to MK any day, and see how long the lines are for that, all day long. If it's so bad and needs to be replaced, apparently, many guests haven't gotten the message yet.

Stinky, smelly, loud, and obnoxious ... everything that Fantasyland is not.
My boys rode it when they were 7 and 8. They found it quite blah compared to our local go karts. They've never asked to ride it since.

I'm not impressed by the Speedway, but I like the idea of a Speedway type attraction in Tomorrowland.
What if it was more like this?

Can't tell from the picture - is it still stinky, smelly, loud or obnoxious? Those are my complaints.
It really is jarring.

All things easily fixable with a little $$$. For me the problem with the Speedway is that it's not as scenic as Autopia.

I've said this before - I am a bumper car maniac.
Every ounce of kindness and decency I possess goes out the window (as it were) the second that ceiling electrifies.
Mothers of small children point at me and complain to management when the ride is over.
Bring on the bumper cars, baby!

I am going to the Blue Jays' home opener tonight, in a VIP Premium box. Not the regular Acura box - the premium "Summit Suite".
The person who gave me the tickets has requested that I not post pics from the box and of the food spread on FB, so you guys are going to be the only ones who get to share in my good fortune.
Heading out to the GO train at 2:45. Three hours to go.
