So frustrating! The how water tank is leaking. Minor flood in the basement. Soooooo not in the mood for this.
Reliance is coming tomorrow (later today technically) to replace it. Dang, I wish I'd showered today.

That happened to us a few months ago. Water was dripping from the light fixture in the downstairs bathroom.

The S-family has never had good luck with water and basements. Bro #1 had his basement flood many inches deep more than once. Bro #3 had a major leak in his cold cellar earlier this winter. Bro #2 is smart - he's always been a renter.

Thankfully Hubby caught it early. Last time, it was a pinhole leak in a connection, that I just happened to hear with my bionic hearing. We had an extra kid living here at the time, and his loads and loads of dirty laundry strewn everywhere soaked up most of it. We would not have been so lucky this time.

Our upstairs hot water heater was supposed to have a drainage system to prevent it from flooding the upstairs. Turns out the drainage system didn't actually go anywhere. We keep finding all kinds of things in this house that the previous owners didn't do right.
