Dear Parents, Faculty and Community Members,

Due to the impending forecast, the *********** Area School District will be closed tomorrow, Tuesday, March 14th, and all activities and practices will be cancelled. In addition, the School Board Committee Meetings scheduled for Tuesday March 14th will be tentatively rescheduled for Wednesday March 15th at 6:00pm in the CASH auditorium. As per the school calendar, the second snow make-up day for Tuesday March 14th will be on Friday, May 26th, 2017. Enjoy the snow, and please stay safe.

We had our second snow day a couple weeks ago and our district administrator sent us (the staff) an email telling us that the staff would make up the snow day on June 2nd with an inservice day. We already have a full day inservice day scheduled for June 2. I don't think he has realized it yet, and none of our goody-two-shoes elementary teachers have said anything to him yet because we haven't gotten any more emails.

Snow hit about 9P last night. Woke up to about 1/2" and it stopped shortly thereafter. So, we skated here!! Sounds like the southern portion of the state really took a hit though....

We didn't get that much. Just enough to make the highways bad for the morning commute. Roads were fine on the way home, though.

Yup, it's a little cool here in N. Carolina, but sunny and no snow. It is raining tonight though. Haven't looked to see how long that is supposed to last.
