Where in the World Isn't Bob Saget?

It's unfortunately not in the best area - it's adjacent to the tennis center which is vacant if not hosting an event and Citi Field is on the other side of the tennis center but that too is vacant if the Mets aren't playing. The area surrounding Citi Field on the other side is all industrial. We walked through a few years back when we had to park at Flushing Meadows on Opening Day at Citi Field and the place was hopping - but on days when there isn't so much activity in the area you find some seedier and less respectful activities taking place.

We are waiting for our plane to take off so I thought I would share the last snack I had at the Magic Kingdom today. Sorry I haven't been very good with live posting, but I will be doing a trip report.

When you're the leader, you don't have to follow.
So, some guy knocks on our door asking about the used tires for sale. Well, we happen to know that our next door neighbours bought a new car this fall and are unloading the snows on rims from the previous car.
After we directed him next door, he apologized, saying, "I'm so sorry to have bothered you. The lady said hers was the house with Christmas lights still on.
Now I ask you, if you lived next door to this:

Was that the extent of their Christmas lights or is that just all they've left up?

I think it might be an age thing for me since I didn't get to watch the Jetsons as much.

They still have the clear ones strung along the eaves, but have shut them off. I've given Hubby the go-ahead to remove our railing and eaves lights next week before we leave for Florida.
The tree, I suspect, is going to be an all year long thing. The little kids across the street love our lights. They're so excited when they go up in (early) November, and so sad when they come down at the (technical) end of winter.
