Oh and by the way...my unemployed lobster eating husband just asked me why we are heading over to the hockey rink. Then he added, "oh - it's Saturday". Yeah...he's going to need to go back to work.
How long has he been off?
I've been "in between" sites for almost a year. Hubby has been off since September.

He goes back this week for Phase II of a project he sold more than a year ago.
Tuesday for office set-up, and then the VIP Preview event Wednesday and Thursday; open to the general public on Saturday.

There are hundreds of people registered for the VIP Preview, so it may go really well, or fall totally flat.

Folks are going to be in for massive sticker shock.
The developer raised the lot prices $250K, the contracts for 2016 vs 2015 are up about $50K and the Builder thinks he undersold the first phase by about $100K.
You do the math - unless the Builder really sharpens his pencil between now and Tuesday, that will be a price jump of about $400,000.

Even in Canadian funds, that's a whole heck of a lot of money.

Yes. It's a very uncommon name, so my Bros let me know as soon as he hit the Big Leagues.

Son #2 was supposed to have been named "Matthew", but he wouldn't have been a Szczur anyway.

FYI - for anyone trying to pronounce it, the correct pronunciation is along the lines of Stchyure.
Our relatives in the States changed the family name to "Stury".
We pronounce it "Sure".

Growing up, I can't tell you how many times I heard, "Are you sure you're sure, Szczur?"
Oh yeah, so funny, I forgot to laugh.

I was picking up dog poop in the backyard this morning and as I was picking up one piece with the scooper, it started to sprout legs and move. Turned out to be a baby snapping turtle. Guess I better watch where my dog is sniffing back there for the rest of the month.
