You're near the water like me - if you're anywhere near the water there's a wetness to the air when the wind blows that makes you feel like your skin is going to shatter into a million pieces if you move your face.

Finally at home and sitting down. I stopped by my grandparents on the way back, and stayed longer than I thought I was going to.
Oh, I hope that didn't sound like I was blaming you. I was making fun of myself for getting powdered sugar all over my phone from trying to post on here while eating beignets.
I took some other pictures. Christmas at Lakeside Shopping Center.
I love this Mardi Gras tree. It even has little king cake ornaments.
Jingle jangle jingle here comes Mr. Bingle. He's is a big deal in New Orleans.

No, I got two!
Now they can go with some of my other Mr. Bingles. I know I have three more big ones, but who knows where they are in my sister's room.
Oh, and I talked myself into getting this. I figured I would regret it later if I didn't.

Probably a combination of us both being slow. I blame the cold for slowing the atoms in my brain.

Well, I finally saw a Christmas movie (from your list yesterday). I figure since you've been posting this daily list for close to a month now, I should actually watch one of these. Last night I watched National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation. Laughed my butt off!

I have never seen anything like this before -- what a colorful and creative Christmas tree with the Mardi Gras influence. That is really spectacular. Some day I'll have to visit your state -- very unique and different. P.S.: Happy to have you back here on Saget for the holidays (and hopefully beyond that, too)! My shopping's done and pretty much wrapped - I have to go upstairs to bring down more wrapping paper for a few last minute things, but I'll do that tomorrow when the temperature is a little higher. I still have to figure out what clothes to pack for Christmas but I'll probably get that done some time today.Begin? It's been going on for weeks now!
