Come to find out one of the HOTTEST toys this year is called Hatchimals...no store has them and they are going for exorbitant figures on eBay.

I just found out about it and I have decided those people can just KEEP them...I will not be suckered in.

I did a lot of online shopping yesterday, but did not know about this new MUST HAVE toy until now. too late

It's been too late for a while. Anytime we get them in they fly off the shelves. People came in on Thanksgiving and Black Friday and asked if we had them - everybody knew the answer was no. We get them off the truck and they almost immediately go to checkouts or are shipped out for an online order.

How long have they been around? I think I read that they just came out after Toy Fair this year...does that sound right?

Not sure on when they came out, I just know throughout the holiday shopping season we haven't been able to keep them in stock. This dates back to October.

I struck out finding an NES Classic everywhere I went too.

I believe my manager at the time said the entire chain because the supplier was ending it.

Yup, not on the toy lists in my family. The company that created them is from Cananada.

I'm happy to report that even at my age, it was an instantaneous understanding. Unfortunately, instead of making me a Man it makes me a Dirty Old Man. There are days when you just cannot win.
