Figures -. During what is most likely my last week of working at this location, I discover a better route to get here.
Same distance. Same length of time. $5 less per day in tolls. Less big rig traffic.

And I get to drive past beauties like this, rather than the Intermodal freight yards.

I must have been out in the back yard when you drove by.Otherwise I would have invited you in for coffee.

Beautiful home. That architecture combined with the grey, cloudy atmosphere certainly gives off an Edgar Allan Poe type of feel.

Some less-than-honorable men have been known to refer to certain females as "pigs"...
I know who you're talking about. He was a creep for saying that.

You'll think I've fallen over the deep end, but I rather like intermodal freight yards. :geek: Sometimes, the most unusual things fascinate me. I find the whole transportation chain interesting. There's so many different methods of shipping and transporting freight of all kinds. I think it would be fun to discreetly enter one of those places and just observe everything going on. (Oh, I'd be quiet and respectful, and certainly stay out of the way--so as not to interfere with the work the people are doing there.) I'd love to watch and learn. :)

Intermodal freight yards - cool.

Slow moving, diesel-spewing trucks, chugging three abreast from stoplight to stoplight on Highway 50 - not cool.
