Where in the World Isn't Bob Saget?

I've got mine-self a bit of a problem. Usually I will back either the Red Sox or the Mets depending which one has achieved a reason to be backed. What do I do with both of them in the playoffs.
Aah, now this puts you in a good position, because NYwdwfan & Nemo try to outbid one another as to which team receives your support all throughout the postseason. It really is a win-win for you regardless of which team's representative bids the most $$$.

You get a free seat up in the "There's Always Next Season" lounge, where @PUSH & myself are already setting up a slideshow presentation to discuss how our teams ended up where they did. :oops: It also has a refreshment bar, and gives us ideal viewing of the others fighting it out tooth & nail over the next few weeks.
Good thing I didn't watch a single Brewers game this year. But I like their strategy this season. Lay low, so we can come out of nowhere next season and win it all.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't this the most Sageteer-representing teams we've ever had in the playoffs for a single postseason? :eek:

@Nemo14 - Red Sox
@JenniferS - Blue Jays
@Lucky - Nationals
@NYwdwfan - Mets
@Andrew C - Rangers
@brifraz - Orioles

Sorry if I left anybody out. I may be mistaken, but isn't @MOXOMUMD a Seattle fan? Considering her team's close finish at the very end (which is deserving of an honorable mention)...this almost gave us 7 teams to cheer for in one thread. Impressive. Most impressive.

Edit: And does my team get anything for nearly hitting 100 losses?
None of us should waste any breath cheering. It's an even-numbered year so the Giants are guaranteed to win.

I can't cheer for both of them. What's left... Who are the Nationals? Aren't the Blue Jays from Cananada, eh? Rangers, never heard of them either and the Orioles are my Son In Laws favorite, so I surely cannot wish them success, he's hard enough to deal with as it is without joining sides with him.

It might be important to point out that I haven't followed baseball since the New York Yankees were automatically awarded the World Series win just before the first game of the season. Hit it again Mickey or Roger. I remember listening to those games on my cell phone sized transistor radio. What a great adventure.
Roger even won a WS when the Yankees were no good anymore. With the Cardinals, against the Red Sox.

Did anyone see the last minute of the Tennessee - Georgia game yesterday? Pretty amazing!!!
That was amazing. My sister told me she was cheering so loud at her house, that she might not be able to teach this week. :hilarious: She's a former Pride of the Southland marching band member...so I understand where that level of enthusiasm can come from.

It was pretty crazy in town after that comeback win.

And for some news that I'm sure all of you are aware of, but, the joy has just managed to leave you speechless. The US won the Ryder Cup back today. I know, I know that's a lot of excitement to take in, but, just sit back and let it trickle into your consciousness. What a high! :cool::D:joyfull:

When you're the leader, you don't have to follow.

Golf right?
Google says it's Ryder, with a "y".
Proving that yes, I had to Google "Ryder Cup". :hilarious:
