Where in the World Isn't Bob Saget?

With the various discussions over the past few years (throughout the forums) about that movie, I have never actually seen it. Somehow, it seems like everyone else has seen it, except me. o_O Has it ever been shown on tv, such as on old movie channels like AMC or TCM?
Here's a shocker - I've never seen it either.

Nope, supposedly not anywhere in the US...

That would be awful were it to happen.

What's wrong with a Mr. Toad-esque family dark ride in DAK if Disney wants Zootopia in the parks? Would fit the mood of the story much better, and not result in a loss of something many of us hold dear & sacred.
Because building new rides isn't a cheap and easy way to get a new attraction. You might as well take existing attractions and retheme them. Not only does it save money, but it saves time.

Wait, it usually takes them just as long to retheme a ride as it does to build one from scratch. Carry on.

Appears to definitely be superior in length & theme than Kali, but I still think Grizzly Peak in Cali is the best overall of Disney's rapids rides. What do you all think?

I haven't done Grizzly, but this seems way longer than Kali and more exotically-themed. If anything though it seems even narrower and more confined than Kali. It would be nice if, at least for a stretch, a raft ride broadened out enough to give you a little more of a sense of the power of nature that you get on a real river.

You can see it on You Tube: Quality leaves a lot to be desired, but, here it is.

Thanks. Assumed that it wasn't on YouTube, so I didn't even look!! (I'll watch it this weekend when I have more time. (I did watch the first 10 minutes, just to see the beginning--it seems older than a movie made in 1946.)

Not sure if I'm enjoying the reaction of the Chinese guests more, or the ride, itself more! :joyfull:

This raft ride in Shanghai seems so much more fun than Kali. I remember the first time I went on Kali, the year it opened. Big disappointment--I remember thinking, "is that all it is?" I was expecting thrilling drops, etc., but thought the ride was a DUD. Haven't ridden it since. But that ride in Shanghai is something I'd definitely go on, if they'd redesign Kali to be like the attraction in Shanghai. ;)

Remember how I saw one of my students from this past semester at a hockey game? Well today she came into work while I was working. I haven't seen any of my other former students, but now I've seen her twice.
