I unlocked my phone, opened the camera app, turned on HDR, aimed, focused on the castle, and repeatedly hit the photo button. Then deleted the carp ones while waiting for the bus.

To celebrate today we went to the eagle nest and caught Momma sleeping on a branch...
Then wewent over to see the burrowing owls. Still cute!

Those are some really beautiful closeups of the birds. I especially like the bottom one of the two owls together--great shot.

You know what's funny?
Ok, Day 2, April 18th. Our first park day.
We started the day bright and early. 8am for EMH at AK. The plan was to stay there until close (6:30pm) as this was to be our only day at AK. Well, we almost made it until then....
The first attraction of the trip...Kilimanjaro Safaris
We had lunch at Tusker House so we met up with Donald and the gang. Kids were excited of course, and so were we as this is one of our favorite restaurants. Random photo near Tusker...
We did a few other attractions as well as some walking trails. We even spent some time in the Boneyard so the girls could run around while we relaxed.
Also rode Everest while the girls napped.
At around 3pm or so we were all tired and needed a break. So we decided to go back to the hotel to take a power nap before heading out for the evening to MK. I will share some of those photos later this evening...that is all for now!

For Survivor fans, no spoilers, but I had a lot to say this week in terms of strategy. When we get down to this few of numbers, it's much easier to project what will happen, so I have a lot of speculation of what will happen. Check out the Survivor thread to read my thoughts! This season is turning out to be one of my favorites.

The evening started with Peter Pan and ended with Wishes, two of our favorite things. Just a few photos...
And yes...this happened and I am not ashamed to say it! The looks on the girl's faces was worth using a FP for this. A late night FP actually, after Wishes. I am amazed they stayed up that late.
So our first park day was in the books...quite a few more to go. Day 3 would bring Epcot and DHS!

Ugh! Still haven't seen last week's episode, let alone this week. Maybe tomorrow.
Last week's wasn't that intense. Stephen Fishbach and Rob Cesternino said it was their least favorite of the season, and I would agree. This week laid out so much as far as the potential final 3, and it had a lot of interesting dynamics to it.
