holy crap the first 20 minutes!!!
You haven't seen some of the other intense medical situations, so it's hard to compare it, but this could be one of the worst ever. In terms of the quantity, it definitely is the worst. Never have they had to pull non-medical staff in to help in a medical situation.

Having already gone on record about what I think about painting over natural wood there is no need for me to express my opinion, however, if it works for you... well, it is your house and it has been quite awhile since you have invited me over for dinner anyway. (Since forever, I would have to say)
Dude, the game was invented up here. It's almost mandatory!
The first time I ever played Trivia was in Canananda in fact at a winter cabin that one of my in-laws had rented. I was hooked on it right away. The fact is that my head is packed full of useless information and that game is the only release I have for it. Unfortunately, there has been no remaining room in my head for actual beneficial information. I play Trivia Crack on my phone daily with my grandkids and one of my son-in-laws.

Another piece of the JenniferS puzzle - after three hours of carting Son #1 and my brother here, there and everywhere, I came home and donned my "painting pyjamas" and applied the second coat of paint to the cabinet.

Tammy insists that I am the only person who has a dedicated painting nightie.

4-8 hours of drying time, and then I can apply the sealing wax. I'm thinking I'm just going to wait until tomorrow.

The thing about chalky paint is that it goes on very matte (chalky), and the sealing wax adds a bit of gloss. On top of that, one can then add antiquing wax, that darkens the edges or any raised features.

I need to watch a couple more YouTube videos before I attempt the antiquing wax step though.

Even with the painter's tape on it, I really like the color. Once done, that's going to look great with the other furniture (and a nice complement to the colors in the picture on the wall, too). :)
