You know what's funny?
It's a roller coaster. Unlike any episode ever.

Having already gone on record about what I think about painting over natural wood there is no need for me to express my opinion, however, if it works for you... well, it is your house and it has been quite awhile since you have invited me over for dinner anyway. (Since forever, I would have to say)
The first time I ever played Trivia was in Canananda in fact at a winter cabin that one of my in-laws had rented. I was hooked on it right away. The fact is that my head is packed full of useless information and that game is the only release I have for it. Unfortunately, there has been no remaining room in my head for actual beneficial information. I play Trivia Crack on my phone daily with my grandkids and one of my son-in-laws.Dude, the game was invented up here. It's almost mandatory!
Me too. I've never cried before the first commercial break before. Scary! Finally watching this weeks Survivor.

I used to, but got bored. My ex-coworker and I would play it all the time, and I think he won 4 or 5 out of about 50 matchups.I also play Trivia Crack.
Word Crack is waaaaay better!I used to, but got bored. My ex-coworker and I would play it all the time, and I think he won 4 or 5 out of about 50 matchups.
Hopefully they are using the adjective, rather than the noun. Why is everything on crack?
It is all whack. Why is everything on crack?
Another piece of the JenniferS puzzle - after three hours of carting Son #1 and my brother here, there and everywhere, I came home and donned my "painting pyjamas" and applied the second coat of paint to the cabinet.
Tammy insists that I am the only person who has a dedicated painting nightie.
4-8 hours of drying time, and then I can apply the sealing wax. I'm thinking I'm just going to wait until tomorrow.

The thing about chalky paint is that it goes on very matte (chalky), and the sealing wax adds a bit of gloss. On top of that, one can then add antiquing wax, that darkens the edges or any raised features.
I need to watch a couple more YouTube videos before I attempt the antiquing wax step though.
Every pie I ever filled (and I filled a lot of them!) went in this order:
Yellow
Pink
Green
Orange
Purple
Blue
The hardest part about re-finishing my cabinet - looking at the pristine paint job and picking which edges I'm going to deliberately sand and "mess up".
Needs a teeny bit more, methinks.
