With a trip coming this summer my daughter is a bit bummed that Mike and Sulley aren't out at HS. Does anyone know if they will be any were else? She even made some Monsters University ears!

Yeah as of now they're gone and that's lame because my little boy is now old enough to like them. We're a big character loving family and we've already got to meet them but I'd say maybe they'll maybe be in parades or something. The strange thing is they seem more popular than Stitch and Disney still even has a breakfast for him. I personally think they should create a Pixar character meal. That would be awesome and would add another great dining experience to Hollywood Studios.

Last I knew, they met in DHS right next to exit from what is now Watto's Grotto (the former AFI display space at the end of the old Backlot Tour)

Not sure what's happening based on current construction situation at Studios. Sorry!!

I had heard they were going to be removed from there. I was hoping they would relocate them instead of removing them all together! :grumpy: If I had any say I'd put them at the Noodle Terrace. (or what ever that area is called) by Laugh Floor.

A character meal would be neat but i think it would be hard for Mike to get around to all the tables. What I would LOVE is a Monster Inc ride!! :D

My guess would be there will be more of a Pixar presence in general in Hollywood Studios after the expansion is complete. I know it's "Toy Story Land" or whatever they intend to call the Toy Story-centic plot of real estate. But still, I'd figure there will be more love for Pixar in general when all is done. But yeah, it does seem odd that character so beloved they made a sequel (OK, prequel) has so little presence throughout the property.

At this point, I think it'd be great to see character meals expand to all of the resorts. At least all of the deluxe and mods, space permitting. But instead of more princesses or core characters, get The Other Guys who get less face time with guests. It wouldn't even have to be a character meal that's available every day for every meal. Maybe Timon & Pumbaa host a breakfast on the weekends at Boma. Re-open the restaurant they closed at POFQ and have a Princess and the Frog themed meal. Maybe at the Values a rotating outdoor BBQ/party - one day a week at each of the All-Stars, 2 nights at Pop, 2 nights AoA - featuring various Pixar characters?

I agree with you about Pixar and HS. although for now milf would be a great temporary spot for them.

Now on your other ideas.... I think they are brilliant. I think Disney should pay you. People would come out of the woodwork to see some of the less frequent characters. I know I would. I've heard the idea before about Princess and the frog at POFQ and also think it would be a great if they did it.

Maybe Mike could be like the character that you meet before you actually go in and then maybe Sulley could come to your table? Or just meet them both on the way in and then have Toy Story characters come to your table? A ride could be cool and maybe be based on laughter and screaming like the movie is. Like you could go to Monstropolis or something.

The last time I saw them outside of DHS was at the MK a few years back for a "dance party" I was looking forward to it only because I thought it would be a way to meet one of my favorite characters George Sanderson. He was there but they wouldn't let him stop and take a quick picture.

Moral of the story is, they may be at a MK TL dance party but you can't stop and take pics etc.. :(
