Where do you watch Illuminations from?

The only time we've ever watched the show was when we hunkered down between La Hacienda(whatever it was before the revamp) and the boat dock.

Most viewings have come from the Mexico area but I have also been in a good spot a couple of times in UK. I have been fortunate to always get a good viewing without crowd obstructing or winds blowing too much smoke my way.

My favorite location is across the lagoon, after you enter from Future World, so I can see all the countries. But usually we're just walking up shortly before it starts, and we walk the lagoon looking for a spot that's not too many people deep.

The view from Japan (that general area) is the view I like best. But then you are stuck behind all the crowds - so you either have to wait hours for a bus, or hang out later in the park (or stay in BC/BW?YC).

So, most of the time I just watch from near the port of entry.

We almost never watch from the same place twice try something different every time for the most part but La Hacienda by a window has been my favorite far and away even better than Rose & Crown outside to me..has anybody tried Spice Road yet?

The steps leading to Canada is a good spot. Last time was the Japanese restaurant.

I watch it in the USA. It's practically in the center of the lagoon, and it's a perfect view (although the walk back to the monorail is awfully long compared to pavilions like Mexico and Canada).

I usually try for a spot somewhere between the UK and France. Then as the finale starts we make our way into Rose & Crown and attempt to get a drink and wait there until the mass exodus dies down before heading for the exit.
