Where Do You Eat Night 1 in WDW?

Have you tried calling the restaurant directly? (407) 828-TREX (8739) I've heard on some other boards that people have had great luck getting T-Rex reservations by calling the restaurant directly.

We have a long flight and don't arrive until late afternoon so we just go to DD first night, have a couple of beers on the waterfront and then eat at Earl of Sandwich. A fairly early night and we're ready to hit the parks bright and early next day.

We just do counter service on arrival day, even on the dining plan, to have more time for attractions.

I have been foiled by delayed flights too many times to be silly enough to make a ressie somewhere. I end up kind of giggling at the few people on the plane who start stressing about wether or not they will make their ressie. We usually stay at POFQ, and are starving by the time we get there, so Sassagoula Float Works for us!

Since we don't stay on site the first night and our tickets don't start until the next day, we usually go to DTD and eat at Earl of Sandwich....yummy tuna melt and tomato soup :slurp:

MK - I love to go to the Plaza Restaurant the first night. With a res of course because that place gets mobbed.

Epcot - Les Chefs or Le Cellier

Hollywood - 50's

Animal Kingdom - Rainforest

DTD - Raglan Road
