Where do they keep the monorail at night?

In the past, they used to use cartridges that had audio tape in them... Now we use something called the Binloop. Basically, it's like a mini hard drive, and the sound files are digitally stored on there. We have a FF, REW, PLAY, STOP, and RESET... although, pressing stop messes up the cueing. Also, for awhile as maintenance was playing around with different systems, the door closing speil would mess up the cueing of the speil.

Some of the trains cab speakers are quite hard to hear between the guests in the front and the radio, so sometimes the driver might not be able to hear the spiel to cue it properly. Within the next year, it will all become automatic.

That's sad. I sure hope there is someway to override it or disable it altogether. I know SOME pilots like to make up their own spiels on those late night laps.

Indeed, and I'm one of 'em... Don't worry though, there will be a way to turn it off I'm sure. There's gonna be a LOT of changes to that console and monitoring system to make it flexible, and configurable, and beautiful.

When are they going to expand the monorail and if they are, where to?

I asked a driver back in September and he just laughed. I know it costs tons of money and years of planning because of future developement, but by now I think they should have some inkling.
