Where do CMs live?

Ok It's just come to my attentio that CMs are human after all and therefore need lodgings food humanity e.t.c. So where do they live??? All I can see are hotels for a mile radius. Can anyone shed any light???

If they are part of the college program Disney has apartments for them. If they are cast members that live near than they travel from Orlando, Kissimmee, St. Cloud, or even Disney's town Celebration. There are plenty of places that they can live, but I do know that a lot of Celebration's residents do work at WDW.

Er, anywhere and everywhere? I don't know about the full or part time CMs, but I do know the the College Programmers (or the CPs) live in housing provided by Disney. They live in either the Chatham or Vista Way complexes.

In Orlando, Winter Park, Kissimmee, Clermont, Altamonte Springs, Davenport, Casselberry, etc. I live 40 - 60 minutes away in Winter Park. Much like New York is not just skyscrapers and the Statue of Liberty or Las Vegas is not just The Strip, Orlando has much more to it than WDW.

I know that WDW is reasonably close to Highway 27 and HW 27 north of I-4 is nothing but single family housing developments.

Actually, all 51,000 cast member are coated with the grease of the McDonald's Fry stand, and using a strategic shoe-horn, they all stay in Cinderella's castle.

Alright, Im just playing. They live all over, more people work at WDW than live in my hometown

I think we are up to about 53,000 I thought.... we just did a HUGE hiring blitz. Plus the addition of Saratoga Springs and Pop Century.

I live right next to SeaWorld! Don't forget CM's also live at Clermont, Altonmonte Springs!! Hey,(off topic, but cool) I know a person that works at NASA at Cape Canaveral, who dirves AN HOUR to work to and from everyday!! That's what I call appreciation for jobs! :sohappy: :sohappy:

You are forgetting The Commons - housing for internationals working in Epcot mainly. It´s the very nice complex next to Mary Queen of the Universe Shrine. I´m sure you´ve seen it.

That's cool but I'd never be able to do it. I'm not the budgeting type.

I moved out because my other roommates weren't able to stick to a budget as well as I could. I bailed out (with my credit intact) a month before they got evicted.
