What happened to all of the elaborate caramel apples? They are all gone from the parks and resorts! No one wanted a $16 Mickey apple?

We spoke with Cast Members and while they assured us that caramel apples aren’t disappearing for good, it will be a bit before we can enjoy one again. Apparently, due to quality issues, caramel apples needed to be pulled from the cases and it will be 10-15 days before they are back on display again. This is due to a recall of the caramel used when making the apples.

There is a candy maker who has a major recall due to some ingrediants they use, not sure if they supply the caramel or not
