I wanna go next year for Christmas Time when they have the parks fully decked out for the holiday and their doing all the events. What's your opinions on the best time to go? I would like to go prob for 8 days just because of all the things they got going on there at that time. Would appreciate feedback on this.

Early december.. the period after thanksgiving, but before the 2 weeks leading into christmas.

Never been over Christmastime, but it doesn't tend to be busy (well, for Disney standards) during the first weekish of December. It's considered a good time of year to go shortly after Thanksgiving. I'd definitely avoid the week before and after Christmas.

You want to avoid the time leading right up to thanksgiving.. and avoid the period where they are transitioning between holloween and christmas (which takes a bit for them to do for castle lights, etc). That's why early dec is the best... it's in the lull between thanksgiving and the christmas rush.

We like to go the week prior to Christmas. Been there twice and it's not terribly busy until the 24th. We stayed Christmas Eve until 5, enjoyed every minute. And even the crowds were enjoyable.

When we have gone in Dec., it's been for the 2nd & 3rd weeks. Our friends went during Christmas week and comparing the crowds and wait times, we had the better time. Weekends throughout the month are much busier as local crowds pack in.

We went last year Dec. 9-14 and it was the perfect time. The crowds were very low and all of the decorations were up. We had great weather too and were able to wear shorts every day.

I usually go with the family from Dec. 16th-Dec. 24th. We just like being there right before Christmas and then driving home and having a great Christmas day reminiscing about the trip and having a great day. There is still a Disney feel there on the 25th.

Early December, after Thanksgiving. Also, before Thanksgiving. I have been both times - November the week before Thanksgiving and only on Thanksgiving day and that weekend did it get busy but the week before was some of the lights crowds we ever had. And December - the week before Christmas we were there and left on the 23rd and again, crowds started to come up around the 22nd but any time before then, really light crowds.

We have done it a few times with no crowds, but weather can go either way. The first two times was the week after Thanksgiving, get there on that sunday, value season, pretty slow. We have also gone around the 14 of December with low crowds, nothing after the 16th I believe. Coldest was 20 degrees on the mid december trip! Yikes! But that does not happen often, usually mid 70's.

We are planning the week after Thanksgiving, 2014. I'd love to go right about til Christmas Eve, but flights will be insane, and w. soon to be 2 kids, a huge family, and school pageants and whatnot it would be way too crazy. I've heard the week after Thanksgiving is a great time to go, so we're really excited!

We went Dec 7-13 back in 2010...the crowds were higher than I expected, but still significantly lower than what you'd see just before Christmas. We went just before Thanksgiving last year, but in doing so, we missed out on things like Candlelight Processional, Epcot storytellers, and the MK tree. Still, it's very cool to see the parks all decked out (especially the castle dreamlights and DHS's Osborne Lights). Many of the hotels also have great decorations that are worth a visit.

I've done the week leading up to Thanksgiving, and you could literally see the crowds increasing by the day. By the day before Thanksgiving (our last day) the Magic Kingdom was crazy.

I've also done the first week of December twice, and thought it was very nice. I think it had the perfect balance of nice weather, manageable crowds, and and the full Christmas experience.
