When you get to WDW, what sight makes you smile and decompress?

My family has gotten into going to Epcot first instead of MK. So for me, the Leave a Legacy monoliths (as much hate as they get, they are really nostalgic for me) and SE are when I know I’m home. Side note: we go back in 8 days for our honeymoon and I cried real tears over a WDW commercial last night. I told my husband that he better just be prepared for the water works when we get there!

Going back to the Magic Kingdom at night

Whenever I see the Tree of Life or Cinderella Castle in the morning, I'm filled with this sense of wonder that kicks off the day.

Turning on to Main Street and see the Castle in front of me is the most magical feelingh

100% same. Hearing the music on Main St USA with castle at the end makes time stand still.

First it starts with this, the MCO monorail that I know will soon take me to the World.

And then...

This when I get emotional and I know I have arrived at my happy place.

For me it's after getting to the resort, throwing the bags in the room and heading to the buses and waiting for the bus for transport to our first park.

I love it the feeling I get when I sit there in anticipation of getting to the park. When I see our bus to whichever park we are going to first, I get a huge smile on my face.

When I see the Contemporary Resort with the Monorail arriving. That's when it hits.

Before I arrive at Disney World, seeing my countdown number finally enter the single digits.

So many... But the one that is on my mind right now - being in World Showcase at dusk, with the pre-Illuminations music playing, the torches lit, and a pint from Rose and Crown in my hand...
