When WDW first opened what rides where there? Is there a Disney map or anything that shows what was there? I was just wondering what the park looked like when it first opened.

Let's see... Buzz was If you had Wings and was a FREE attraction

the little photo booths that you see and the little souvie stands were ticket windows

Mr. Toad was a resident of Toad hall just across from the Nautilus

Ariel's Grotto was the Fantasyland Theater, where the three little pigs hung out and partied

RCA was the sponsor of Space Mountain and you could see the House of Tomorrow

Adventureland pretty much stayed the same, except that Aladdin was added

There were swan boats running through the moat around Cinderella Castle

The trolley ran all the time

No BTM, Splash Mountian, and the Frontierland Station was a shack at the end of the road

Mickey's Review was in the other Fantasyland theater where Mickey's philharmagic is going

No ToonTown

The Tomorrowland train station was actually in Tomorrowland

The astro-orbiter was a big Saturn V rocket

There were waterfalls in the front of Tomorrowland right next to the "Apartments of the Future"

That is just what I can rememebr right now... There are tons of pics and books all over... The search is the fun part.

When WDW opened it was just MK. It had Jungle Cruise, SWF Treehouse, I'm pretty sure Tiki Room, CB Jamboree, Hall of Pres, Tom Sawyer Island, Haunted Mansion, Small World, 20,000 Leagues, Mr. Toad - Snow White - Peter Pan, Fantasy Faire (live shows), Mickey Mouse Review, America the Beautiful (360 theatre), Mission to Mars (I think this was the first exhibit in what is now the Alien Encounter), Race Track. It also had Skyway (from Fantasyland to Tomorrowland) which doesn't exist now.

I think Space Mtn and Pirates were the first exhibits to open after the initial park opened. I'm not sure whether people mover opened with Space Mtn or was there from the beginning.

I think Carousel of Progress was soon after that. Then Tunder Mtn. Splash Mtn came a while later.

I have some old brochures from the 70's, and some old tickets (the old A-E tickets had the names of the rides on them). I'll have to check them to see which I left out. (I didn't mention A and B rides.)
