Howdy y'all
Having just got back from a magical vacation we have decided to leave it 2 years instead of the normal 1 between our Florida trips .
The question i have for all you good folks (and @figmentfan423) is ;
When is a good time of year to visit and see the Halloween decorations and MNSSHP and still have lesser crowds.
Bearing in mind we have always visited early May so we avoid most of the school crowds.Is it possible to do this and see the different theming.

Ta very much in advance

We have been the last week in October and really enjoyed it! The crowds were as low as I've seen them, but we left before Halloween weekend. However, we were also there last year the last week in August, and the fall/halloween decorations were already out then. The crowds were very similar both trips, but the weather in August is not fun. I would recommend mid-late September or October.

I went in 2010 the third week in September and it was great. During the week I never saw any FP times past ten minutes. The crowds picked up more on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. I am guessing the locals? This year our trip is from 13-21. Both times offered free dining. I'm hoping for the same crowd levels this time too. The decorations were all out. I believe the week I am going is the second week of MNSSHP.

I've never been to WDW in September. I've always been concerned about losing too much time to thunderstorms that month. I like (and would recommend) October in WDW (other than Columbus Day weekend).

The decorations start to go up at the end of August. It is really hot but crowds aren't so bad because locals are in school.
While I have never been in September, I would say then because everyone is back in school. Stick to school days.
