When to go Nov/Dec

Is there a "best" week to go in either Nov. or Dec.? I know the weeks of Thanksgiving and Christmas are nuts so I know I want to avoid those 2 weeks...but anything else? The Christmas decorations start going up pretty early on in November right?

Quick run down - my GF and I used to live in MI, moved to FL for a couple years, and are now back in MI. While in FL we only went to WDW once during the Christmas season and it was for the weekend of the Wine and Dine marathon so we didn't get a chance to see or do much, besides run! I'd love to surprise her this year with a trip for Christmas so I'm just trying to get some ideas of a good time. Thanks!

You should be fine anytime in December so long as you leave by the 21st of December. November just stay away from the week of thanksgiving and the week right after, I don't have a calendar so I don't know the exact date of thanksgiving this year.

We were there 12/13-12/23 last year and minus the last two days (a Friday and Saturday) it was lovely. Even with the new fantasyland we didn't wait over 10-15 minutes for anything (with the exception of test track -45minutes)... It was so beautiful and festive!

We were there this very same time as well as this week once before. We found beginning the afternoon on Friday the crowds increase. We left the time before the evening of 24th, but still it was quite pleasant.
