When is the new FL expected to open?

I thought the opening of the new FL was slated for around fall of 2012!?! I thought every date I heard for the first stage was 2012... but the Disney Parks Blog says 2013!?! What is up with that? http://disneyparks.disney.go.com/blog/2010/04/update-fantasyland-expansion-at-magic-kingdom-park/

I attened the D23 anniversary party at the MK and even the imagineer stated in 2 1/2 years time... which would put it around Sept. 2012.

It is an ambiguous piece of text. They could be either referring to the ride itself or to the expansion as a whole, including Pixie Hollow.
